Some News Before Chinese New Year

1. Price about PVC Sheet/Roll

Price has risen of PVC resin and auxiliary material like stabilizer....since last month. That means production cost of PVC sheet/roll would risen a lot. Most customers didn’t understand and couldn’t accept usd50-usd100 per ton.Truth is price of raw material rose . As pvc sheet factory we had no choice but updated price .

Why pvc sheet price rose so fast in short time? Is there any other reasons besides raw material’s price changed ? Answer is yes,there are three key drivers.

1) Export surge: Triggered by the cancellation of the 13% export rebate effective April 2026. 2) Long-term capacity cuts: Government policies aim to shut down outdated and high-cost capacity, tightening future supply. 3) Weak seasonal demand & high inventory: Current construction off-season and high stockpiles are capping price gains.

2. Order and Shipment

We will have holiday from 12^th to 25^th Feb. for our Chinese New Year. It’s not a short holiday. And price rose and still with rising trend. So many customers place more orders to make sure have enough stock and avoid higher price.

The shipping companies are super busy because too many customers wants to ship containers before CNY holiday. For all the orders we need to book shipment once get order confirmed too get space.

To us we feel happy with so many orders but also  get presses from production time,traffic of delivery and also higher cost of delivery.

There are many trucks line up for a very long distance at front of forwarder’s warehouses. For LCL orders  which need to get in urgently,it needs more patience

to wait which will make people feel anxious.

For FCL order which FOB and CIF term, we bear higher cost of delivery. Because some people asked leave to go home in advance. Many sources are in short. So price get higher in our side(Since from our factory to the container on board).

3. Worker’s mood

Chinese new year is our traditional festival,which is good time to get all family together. For some people who work at city far from their hometown,they only go home one time per year. You can image how they are looking forward to go home and stay with family together.So how to spend a relax holiday? One way is arrange jobs well before holiday.

For production department we try best to finish production for the orders we already got. And check how many people can get back to work on time,so we can arrange opening how many production lines and how to adjust those things in advance.For office worker we will finish all payment and paper work. We will also inform all customers about holiday time. So they can adjust order plan accordingly.A relax holiday not means we won’t deal with emails or messages from customers. We are always here.
